Overview
The Seguin Rotary Club, in partnership with Suburban Running & Recreation, invites the Seguin community to come together on Saturday, October 24, 2026 — World Polio Day — for a two-mile community walk to raise awareness and support the global effort to end polio.
The World Polio Day Walk for Polio will begin at Suburban Running & Recreation, located at the Seguin Schoolyard, 225 N. Saunders, Seguin, Texas. Participants are invited to meet at 7:30 a.m. for check-in and gathering, with a group photo and the walk beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The walk is free and open to everyone. Families, friends, community organizations, businesses, and individuals of all ages are encouraged to participate. Whether participants walk with a group or come on their own, the event provides an opportunity for the Seguin community to come together for a cause that reaches far beyond our local community.
“One day. One focus: ENDING POLIO!” is the message behind the event.
