Crochet 101

Overview
Learn to crochet the You're So Crafty way!
2 Sessions! The First session is the second Saturday of the month and the Second session is the fourth Saturday of the month.
Session 1 - Learn the basic stitches - slip knot, chain, single crochet, and
double crochet. Depending on student progress, student will start on
small project (Suzette Stitch Square) and also learn how to read a pattern and count stitches.
Session 2 - Review progress, then learn half double crochet and treble crochet. Begin small seasonal project using a magic circle, working in the round, increase/decrease, and how to attach pieces while reviewing how to read a pattern.
Ages: 14 & up
Sessions: 2 session with 2 weeks apart to practice, 2 hours each session.
Supplies Needed: G hook for part 1. For Part 2, Students need to provide own yarn and hook. (supplies are discounted 10% when purchased during class)
Supplies Provided For Part 1: Yarn, Tapestry Needles, Stitch markers
Results: By the end of both sessions, student will have created 1 finished
small project and 1 started/finished project. They should know all the basics and
should be able to work on any beginner project.
Please advise if you are a left-handed crocheter.
