Bauer Park
Overview
Bauer Park’s amenities include a large, inclusive playground, a covered picnic pavilion, four fitness stations, park benches, and a sidewalk loop (0.21 of a mile) around the park. The land was initially dedicated as the City of Seguin’s first public park in 1910. In 1965, the park became the home of the Seguin Public Library until a new library was built and opened in 2016 near the downtown area. Park funding was made available through the Amercan Rescue Plan Act and contributions from community partners including Caterpillar, Niagara Bottling, and the Guadalupe County MHMR Agency.
