Blaire started working in the travel industry as a Front Desk Agent at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas in 2010. Her CVB career includes interning for the Southlake CVB, Tourism Director for Mineral Wells, and group servicing and sales for Visit Plano. Blaire has been with Visit Seguin for 3 years as the Assistant Director. Industry accolades include being named the 2020 Rising Star for the Texas Travel Alliance and the 2022 Trailblazer award from the Texas Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus.

What is your favorite restaurant in Seguin?

I love going to Pecantown Books & Brews. Their farm-to-table menu is constantly changing, and I love the laid-back atmosphere.

What is Seguin’s best-kept secret?

The Mexican food scene in Seguin is amazing. There is no shortage of breakfast taco joints and authentic Mexican dishes.

Myra’s background includes over 20 years in the hospitality industry. Myra has worked for the programs of Hospitality, Meeting & Event Planning, and Travel & Tourism departments.

She spent 6 years in hospitality management before becoming a Tourism Assistant for the Seguin Convention and Visitors Bureau. Specialties include planning events, conferences, event marketing, tours, trade shows and promoting Seguin.

What is your favorite restaurant in Seguin?

My family and I love going to Ebi Ebi Sushi in Downtown Seguin. Their food is always fresh, their sushi is YUMMY, and they are open late.

What is Seguin’s best-kept secret?

Pape’s Pecan House and Nutcracker Museum. Kenneth Pape collected over 8,000 nutcrackers. From movie characters to presidents, cowboys to animals. You could spend hours perusing all the aisles and still not see them all.
