Seguin is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, as it offers a variety of opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, and other activities.

** Several of our regional dams are undergoing maintenance currently, so water levels vary along the Guadalupe River. **

Wave Pool Aquatic Center

Located in Max Starcke Park, the municipally owned Seguin Aquatic Center features a 15,000 square-foot wave pool with a zero-depth beach-type entry. Kids enjoy the splash pool with a raindrop mushroom and a floating snake sculpture. Also on the property, visitors will find volleyball courts, picnic tables, and a playground next to the pools. The Wave Pool is open from the end of May through mid-August and can be rented for private parties.

  • 12 to 59 years of age - $5
  • 60 and older - $4
  • After 4 pm admission is half price!

Red Beard Boats

Plan your next adventurous day on Lake Placid with Red Beard Boats. They offer a captained boat rental service, with the choice of a pontoon, ski, fishing boat, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards.

Red Beard's Landing

Located on the Guadalupe River, Red Beard's Landing is the perfect spot to hang out on the water for the day. Come enjoy live music every Saturday. Beer and margaritas are sold on location, but you can bring your own snacks!
