Located in the midst of all the action of the Seguin Events Complex, the Coliseum is a premier multi-purpose facility that can accommodate all your event needs. Whether you're hosting a convention, banquet, meeting, trade show, or coming together for a private event, this 12,000-square-feet facility has it all!
The facility can accommodate 1,200 guests for theatre-style seating or 1,000 for banquet seating. Clients have the opportunity to create a customized layout that will suit their individual needs. Break-out rooms are also available. Amenities include Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility and a fully equipped kitchen. A gazebo is available on the Coliseum grounds and parking is available free of charge. The Coliseum offers affordable rates that fit today's tight budget. Call for more details!

1,200 guests for theatre style seating; 1,000 for banquet seating; less if dance floor is requested.
How long are you able to have the room?
Coliseum rental hours available are from 7 am to midnight..
What is the total cost of rental?
Our rates depend on the day of the week.
How many hours does the rental fee include? Is there an overtime fee if I stay longer?
Coliseum fees are for up to a 12-hour continuous rental. Additional hours can be purchased.
Are there decorating restrictions?
Yes. Driving of nails, tacks, staples or screws into floors, walls, columns, partitions or ceilings are not allowed. The use of stickers, tape, fabric glue, or other adhesives is also prohibited. See Terms and Conditions for more information.
Does the Coliseum provide in-house catering?
No, however, we do not have any restrictions on your choice of caterer.
Is there a sound system in the Coliseum? Speakers, microphones, etc.?
Yes, a public address (PA) System can be made available for an additional fee.
Are security services required? If so, how do I go about hiring security?
Yes, the exact number of security officers will be determined and scheduled by the Events Complex Coordinator in conjunction with the Seguin Police Department.
If the date I want is available, can it be held for my event?
In order to secure the date, a signed agreement along with payment of damage deposit and half of rental is required.
Are there overnight accommodations or does the Coliseum partner with local hotels?
