Things to do During Holiday Stroll Weekend in Seguin

Kick off the holidays with a collection of festive events!

On December 5th, Downtown Seguin quickly turns into a Winter Wonderland in preparation for some of our biggest holiday events of the season.

Holiday Stroll Lighted Parade | Thursday, December 5th at 6:30pm

On Thursday, December 5th Seguinites and visitors from across Texas will find their spot along the route of the Holiday Stroll Parade. Starting at 6:30 pm, 70+ floats decked out for the holidays will stroll down Austin Street to the delight of everyone in attendance. The parade route runs from College Street all the way south to Central Park. Be sure to stick around until the end so you don't miss Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Once the parade is over, grab your loved ones and head to Central Park for food trucks and photos with Santa. When the time is right, Mayor Donna Dodgen will hit the switch to turn on all the sparkling holiday lights in Downtown. It's a magical moment you definitely don't want to miss!

Sip n' Stroll | Friday, December 6th from 6-9 pm

Hot cocoa lovers unite for this fun (and tasty) event. Downtown businesses compete to have the best hot cocoa recipe in town. Participants can wander around Downtown Seguin and taste samples of everyone's different take on the festive holiday drink and even vote for their favorite. There is sure to be fun for the whole family with live entertainment, photos with Santa, and more.

While you're sampling the delicious drinks, take advantage of the stores being open and get some early holiday shopping done!

North Pole Stroll | Saturday, December 7th

On Saturday, grab the whole family and head Downtown for another day of holiday fun!

Kick off the morning with the Jingle Bell Run 5K then hang out in Central Park for North Pole Stroll. Enjoy various kids' activities, the cutest shoebox parade you've ever seen, and pictures with Santa. Vendors will be around the park selling unique gifts and our downtown businesses will be open to kick off the holiday shopping season!
